Triboost is a dietary supplement based on Tribulus terrestris, Andean Maca and Zinc.

The product is a mixture of dry extract of Tribulus terrestris, Lepidium meyeneii and zinc citrate. These substances belong to the “Testosterone Boosters”, which directly or indirectly support the physiological action of this hormone.

The extracts of Tribulus Terrestris (dry fruit extract, titre 90% weight/weight in saponins) are used in traditional medicine in some countries of the Middle and Far East for their diuretic effects, to combat urinary tract stones, as antihypertensive agents, cholesterol-lowering and to combat angina pectoris. To these effects must be added some actions on the sexual sphere (aphrodisiac action, increased fertility, increased spermatogenesis and libido) due to the enhancement of the action of testosterone by some substances contained in Tribulus Terrestris (steroidal saponins).

Tribulus terrestris is an important antioxidant, especially indicated for women, as it contributes to the normal functioning of the female reproductive system in particular normalizes the hormonal production of the ovaries, as well as alleviating symptoms related to the polycystic ovary, increasing sexual desire in women and relieving post-menopausal symptoms.

Zinc is an element that can support the action of testosterone and insulin (in addition to having an antioxidant and supporting the immune system). Recent studies have shown a close correlation between zinc and testosterone levels. The anabolic action of testosterone would depend on a good availability of zinc.

To support the synergy between the various components, present in Triboost, the root of a Peruvian plant has been selected: maca (Lepidium meyenii Walp), which grows spontaneously only at altitudes above 3500 m. In Peru it is well known for its nutritional properties and for the improvement it confers to the mental and physical faculties; some studies show an aphrodisiac effect.

 

Indications of use:

SPORT: on the basis of the reported effects the product is configured as a “testosterone booster” capable of supporting the physiological actions of this hormone. In this sense, Body Building could be the sport of choice in the use of Tribulus Terrestris spiked with Zinc and Maca.
Doses: in average weight athletes, 5 capsules of the product.

DAILY LIFE: the product could be used in subjects suffering from low levels of testosterone and as a general tonic (especially in the elderly), for women in menopause.
Doses: 5 capsules per day.
