In scientific merit, vitamin C, enjoys a wide popularity for positive effects on health.

Its action is fundamental for the synthesis of collagen, “cementing” protein of the connective tissue, articular cartilage and bone. Commonly said, vitamin C allows the human body to “be together”. It is known in fact that scurvy, a pathology resulting from a lack of vitamin C, is characterized by rupture of capillaries and small vessels (with the formation of pinpoint hemorrhages called petechiae), weakening of dental connections (pyorrhea), delays in wound healing and lengthening of the welding time of bone fractures. Vitamin C is also important for maintaining low blood cholesterol levels and for the absorption of iron from the gastrointestinal tract.

Its antioxidant action suggested that it could have a prominent role in preventing/counteracting pathological and/or physiological altered states induced by the uncontrolled formation of free radicals.

In sports, the suggestion of constantly taking vitamin C is based on the assumption that free radicals that are formed during physical exertion, if not neutralized in time, can induce muscle damage, lengthen recovery times and cause a drop in performance.

It is important to note that, at the recommended dosages, vitamin C does not have any side effects: the body retains what it needs, any excess is promptly eliminated with urine. There have never been any dangerous accumulations in the human body.


Directions for use

DAILY LIFE: the constant intake of vitamin C effectively fights free radicals formed by the physique in pathological states (various diseases) or altered physiological (eg: cigarette smoke).

SPORT: the constant use of vitamin throughout the period of competitions/ workouts is a tool for preventing the damage caused by the formation of free radicals. These are formed in proportion to the effort produced. The neutralization of free radicals leads to a better standard of physical performance. All
this applies to both power and endurance effort.

Dosage: it is recommended to take 2 capsules a day with a sip of water.
