D-Ribose is a naturally-occurring sugar found in living cells. It is nonessential (i.e. it can be synthesized by the body from other substances) but its role is essential for life: many fundamental biological molecules contain this sugar, including ATP and RNA. Increased availability of D-Ribose facilitates ATP synthesis and therefore energy availability. Additionally, RNA underlies the processes of protein synthesis.
Directions for use: a daily serving of 2-5 g, dissolved in water, is recommended after exercises.
Size: Jar of 100 g contains a 2 g scoop.
