DIMA THERM is a blend of patented plant extracts with scientifically supported basal metabolic rate stimulating activities.

In the context of body weight control, increasing the basal metabolic rate is one of the most effective and commonly used strategies. The basal metabolic rate is the amount of energy expended by the body at rest to perform all vital metabolic functions (e.g., breathing, heart function, etc.) and represents a large part of the total energy expenditure.

In this context, Dima Therm comes to the rescue, a blend of patented plant extracts with scientifically supported basal metabolic rate stimulating activities.

The first key element of Dima Therm is Fuplex®. It is a mix of plant extracts, including brown algae (Fucus vesiculosus) and maté herb (Ilex paraguariensis) that, with synergistic action, stimulate metabolism and promote lipid metabolism, supporting body weight balance. Fuplex® is complemented by the presence of black pepper extract (Piper nigrum) standardized in piperine, which recent studies suggest has an anti-adipogenic action, thus slowing down the synthesis of new fat tissue (Park et al., J Agric Food Chem, 2012).

The action of Dima Therm is further enhanced by the presence of Sinetrol®, a patented formula of plant extracts from orange (Citrus sinensis), grapefruit (Citrus paradisi), and guarana (Paullinia cupana). The polyphenols contained in Sinetrol® stimulate the release of fatty acids from fat tissue up to 6 times more than normal conditions through what is called Fat Shredding Technology™ (Dallas et al., Phytomedicine, 2008). The effectiveness of Sinetrol® has been highlighted by scientific studies in overweight individuals, where daily intake of 900 mg of Sinetrol for three months showed a significant reduction in fat mass and waist and hip circumference.

Fuplex® and Sinetrol® therefore act with different but synergistic mechanisms to support the increase in basal metabolic rate and the elimination of excess fat. All of this is within a single product, Dima Therm.

*Study conducted in collaboration with the University of San Raffaele in Milan: 30 subjects took Dima Therm for 12 weeks and 30 subjects took a placebo for the same period. The subjects who took Dima Therm experienced greater weight loss and almost double the reduction in fat mass compared to those who took the placebo.
