Magnesium is vital for the human body as it activates hundreds of enzymes that control all ATP-dependent activities, also contributing to the maintenance of normal energy metabolism and promoting the regular synthesis of proteins. The required magnesium dose for an adult is 375 mg a day, a normal diet may, at times, not provide a full intake of magnesium. During resistance training, the loss of magnesium through sweating increases its need in order for electrolyte balance to be restored. 65% of body-contained magnesium is located inside the bones: an adequate intake contributes to the preservation of bone and teeth health.
Daily serving: it is recommended to take one chewable tablet a day with a sip of water.
